-Update- In January 2022 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and a few months after that, in March, I had surgery so I was hardly working anything during 2022 because of all this. It has been a tough time and still is. Since spring 2023 I have been able to work some more hours and that feels so good but I am far from the full time (and more) that I used to work before all this happened. The future is uncertain but I try to take it day by day.-
Born and raised in the north of Sweden I have gone through life with a pencil in my hand. Since 2013 Im running my own business, working as a freelance designer in Umeå, where I also live. For the last few years I have been spending most of my time making coloring books that have gained quite some success around the globe. My books have been translated into several other languages can be found in bookstores and online all over the world. In April 2023 I released my second kids coloring book, 'Rymden' and in September my coloring book 'Berättelser från Atlantis' was released in Sweden.
I draw all of my illustrations by hand, pen and paper is what I prefer, and I love to draw magical characters, jewelry, flowers, forests and animals with lots of details. I find most of my inspiration looking back in history to time periods/arts and movies that I like. I often also add dreamlike elements to my illustrations, its that place, between dream and reality, that I like to capture and visualize when I draw.
Besides coloring books I have also made puzzle in collab with Ravensburger, illustrations and patterns for public spaces, interior design, wallpaper and textiles but also for magazines and companies. I also use my creativity in my garden during summer. In my portfolio you can catch a glimpse of some of the commissions, personal illustrations and patterns I have made. If you have any questions take a look at my FAQ page, Im sure you will find the answer there, and if you want me to do some work for you, feel free to contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
